We call them “chickadees” here…. I’m sure it’s the same bird. I generally have two or more that visit my bird feeders, which are usually populated with American Goldfinches. Now that we have snow and very cold weather, there are juncoes and other birds that I don’t recognize in their drab winter colors. Your photo is truly special the way the bird is isolated on that branch.
Hans, humans are tool using animals, so I’m sure you have many tools. Lovely photo of this quick, nervous little bird. You have both a fast shutter, and a fast trigger finger.
