I like the contrast and that the picture is very clear up to the last detail – you can see every leaf! Very nice!
Even though it is in b/w it does not look “dark”.

At first glance, I too thought this was an aerial photo. Then I saw the title and thought it was a single, cracked leaf on a black background. Then I saw the real subject! Beautiful composition, contrast and sharpness.
